I am going to provide few solutions that will help you to fix 'Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped' error.
Just follow them one by one.
Solution 1: Clear Cache For The Particular App Creating Issue
Sometimes you get above error message, when you launch any particular app. So, if you find that a particular app is creating this error then clear cache for that particular app.
Go to Settings>Apps and go to All tab.
Look for that particular app .
Tap the app and then tap on Clear Cache.
If this fails then clear the app data too. This might help in solving the problem.
Note: If you clear app data, then it will erase all app data like game progress, chat conversation and so on.
If clearing cache and clearing app data fails, then uninstall the particular app and re-install it.

Solution 2: Clear Google Play Service Data
If above solution fails, then you can clear Google Play Service data to get rid of 'Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped'
Steps to clear Google Play Service data:
Go to Settings>Apps and tap on All tab.
Now look for Google Play Services app and tap on it.
Then tap on Clear Cache.
Solution 3: Reset App Preferences

Solution #4: Disable Automatic App Updates
Users are also getting error 'Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped' after an app update.
So, if automatic update is enabled, then turn it OFF – after this it will not update the app automatically. But you can update the app manually.
Steps on how to disable automatic updates:
Open Google Play Store on your phone.
Go to Play Store Settings.
